The short version: we see your account email, your plan, and basic usage counts — and that's genuinely it. No selling data, no ads, no snooping. One developer (Logan Tyler Koster, based in Iowa, USA) running this, not an ad network.
Applies to the L Devs BIM website, your L Devs BIM account, and every product built on this platform, present and future. · Last updated: July 27, 2026
Different L Devs BIM tools ask for very different things — a Revit add-in isn't going to need the same data or permissions as a browser extension or a mobile app. Each tool's specific practices are its own, not a blanket promise made here.
What follows in this Foundation section applies directly to L Devs BIM as a whole and the website itself. For anything specific to an individual product, see that product's own Part below.
Whether a product requires an account, makes one optional, or doesn't use accounts at all depends entirely on that product — check its own Part below for specifics. If you do create an account, we store:
If you sign in using Google or another third-party sign-in provider, that provider handles your sign-in according to its own privacy policy — we only ever receive your email address and an authentication token from them, never your password or other account data.
Installed products also send an occasional heartbeat (product name, version, and — if you're signed in — your account ID) so we can count active installs and know which versions are in use.
Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers. We store only what Stripe tells us about your subscription status (plan, renewal date, and Stripe's customer reference).
Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us. We do not sell or share your data with anyone for advertising or marketing.
Our service providers may store and process data in the United States or other countries. By using an L Devs BIM product, you understand your data may be transferred to and handled in a country different from your own.
If L Devs BIM is ever sold, merged, or transferred: your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. This Privacy Policy would continue to apply, or you'd be notified of a materially different one before it took effect.
If required by law: we may disclose your data in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of L Devs BIM, our users, or others.
The L Devs BIM website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies — signing in relies on your browser's local storage instead. Whether a specific product uses cookies of its own is covered in that product's own Part below.
If you delete your account: we keep your account data for as long as you have an account. Deleting it removes your account record and the data tied to it — immediately for self-serve deletion, within 30 days for a manual request (see "Your choices and rights" below). Some anonymous, aggregated usage data may be retained after deletion since it's no longer tied to you.
If your account just goes inactive, on the other hand: we don't delete it for that — your account and login stay intact for as long as we operate the platform (see the Terms of Service for what that means if a product is ever discontinued). What we may clean up is stored data beyond the account itself (for example, product-specific data a tool stores on our servers) if it's gone genuinely unused for a long time — currently, 2 years with no activity. If that ever applies to you, we'll email you 30 days before anything is removed; logging back in, or just replying to that email, is enough to keep everything as-is.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls — but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever does compromise your personal information, we'll notify you as required by applicable law. If you believe you've found a security issue, please email us — we take these seriously and will respond quickly.
We send transactional and account-related emails only: welcome, purchase confirmations, cancellation confirmations, payment problems, password resets, and occasional service notices — like a major change to these policies, or the advance notice before removing inactive data described above. There is no marketing list, and nothing to unsubscribe from — these are all things you'd want to know about your own account.
L Devs BIM products aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
No matter where you are, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you — including rights specifically recognized under laws like the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California). In practice, this is usually just an email away — I'm one person, not a compliance department, so there's no red tape to wade through. Email ldevsbim@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Exporting or deleting data a specific product stores is documented in that product's own Part below.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Applies only to the Recall browser extension. · Last updated: July 27, 2026
Recall works locally. The following never reaches our servers, for every user regardless of plan:
If you're signed in with an L Devs BIM account, this data syncs across your own devices through your browser's built-in sync (e.g. Chrome Sync, tied to your Google account) — the same mechanism, not through L Devs BIM's servers. Since that sync has its own storage limits, Recall includes a way to clear out inactive threads if you're ever close to that ceiling, so cross-device sync keeps working without needing us to store any of it.
All of Recall's free features work fully offline from our servers — no account required, and everything stays local to that device. Signing in with any L Devs BIM account additionally syncs your tagged conversations and settings across all your devices, still entirely through your browser's own sync, not through us.
Recall itself doesn't use cookies at all — as a browser extension, it stores everything through your browser's own storage APIs (see "What stays on your device" above), not cookies. This is separate from whatever cookies the AI sites you visit through Recall may set on their own — see below.
Recall helps you keep track of conversations on the AI sites you use — the built-in list (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, Mistral) and, for Pro users, any additional site you choose to add. Those sites have their own privacy practices and their own cookies or tracking, entirely separate from ours — Recall doesn't see, control, or affect how they handle your data there.
